The Rose Collection

The Friends of Vintage Roses Collection of Old and Historic Roses

You will find below a downloadable pdf list of roses which is based upon the entire collection of roses that existed at one time in the hands of Gregg Lowery and Phillip Robinson. The Friends of Vintage Roses (TFoVR) is in the process of inventorying all the varieties that exist in the collection it has inherited. Some hundreds of varieties in this list have not survived, although we anticipate restoring many of them. We will periodically replace this pdf list with updated versions as we assess the actual state of the collection.

We are currently in the process of identifying those varieties that we do not now have in the collection. These will be enumerated on our Help Find These Roses page and updated. If you know of a source for these varieties or can provide us with cutting material, please contact our curator, Gregg Lowery, at curator@thefriendsofvintageroses.org.
